RoadrunnerNew Mexico’s state bird is the fast-moving Roadrunner. Every week at the Cherry Hills Library, I have seen several of them. I have tried for a few weeks to catch a photo, but these little guys can move at speeds up to 15mph! I was finally able to grab this photo last week. Unlike the cartoons, this one isn’t fighting off the coyote or going "Beep – Beep"! Though a few weeks ago, I did see two wolves crossing the road nearby at I-25 and San Mateo!
