Help for Expired Listings

Albuquerque Expired Home

The end of the year is a record day for expired listings. For the last 24 hours in the SWMLS, 653 listings expired. This breaks down as follows:

  • Residential listings: 232
  • Residential rentals: 13
  • Land: 362
  • Farm/Ranch: 6
  • Residential Income: 29
  • Commercial: 11

There are numerous reasons a home expires and I cover them on a previous post: Why your home expired.

If your listing expired in metro Albuquerque and you are still interested in selling, I can help get your home sold. Check out my marketing plan and request a home valuation.

These statistics were compiled from the Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS® data on 01/01/2009 at 9:00 p.m. This data is reflective of homes which were listed on the MLS. Information was obtained from sources deemed reliable but not guaranteed. Photos are for illustration purposes only and do not necessarily represent current or past listings.

great post. we do something similair with expired listings in our market. Useually it is pretty easy to figure out why a property didn’t sell.

Here in Southwest Missouri, our market has pretty much hit rock bottom. So, it’s not at all hard for us to figure out why a property did not sell.
People simply aren’t buying the condos and vacation homes that are so ubiquitous here in our market.
But we are all hoping that things get better soon for all of us.
Thanks for the great post!
